Plastic bags are a big part of grocery shopping. Some customers can fill 10 or more plastic bags at one grocery shopping trip – most of them end up in the garbage bin after they have been unpacked. The big groceries stores like Coles and Wolworths agreed to stop giving plastic bags for free (should happen mid 2018) so you can spend 15 cents on each plastic bag or you can get a pack of high quality bags and reuse them.
